Staff were friendly, gave helpful advice. Beds comfortable. Great fjord location for swimming. Close to train station. Good free breakfast, rare for hostels. Clean kitchen. Suit all types of guests.

Huge selection of fruit for breakfast, good home cooking for supper, friendly and helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere, spacious and clean room with comfy beds, fantastic view of the lake.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The location of this hostel is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of a glacier lake and fjord mountain right outside your window. the bed in the room is very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the staff at the front desk are incredibly welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to assist with any needs. the common areas of the hostel are well-maintained, creating a cozy atmosphere for socializing with fellow guests.

The breakfast offerings could be improved, as there is not much variety and some items are not refreshed regularly.

The location of this hostel is fine, right by the side of the lake with gorgeous views. The rooms were clean and functional, with comfortable beds and a good shower. The breakfast offered here was by far the best we've ever had in a hostel, exceeding all expectations. The staff were friendly and cute, and the common areas provided a great space to meet other travelers. The free coffee and biscuit hour was a nice touch. The hostel also had a sauna and barbecue facilities by the lake, adding to the overall experience. And for the price, it was excellent value for money.

I got great value for my money at Vandrarheim! The room wasnice and neat, and the location by the lake was beautiful.

The location was dope, with sick off-piste skiing and rad hiking trails nearby. We even tried out skydiving and kayaking - total adrenaline rush! The staff were chill and the breakfast was lit. The hostel vibe was on point with a cozy common area and cool peeps. Best vacation ever!

Only thing missing was a banging party scene. Would have been sick to have some late-night fun for us young party-goers.

The view from my room at Vandrarheim was fine. I woke up to the most amazing sight of the lake every morning, made my stay even more nice. The shared kitchen was a great convenience and the breakfast spread was delicious and varied. The hostel provided valuable information for my trip. I can't wait to come back and stay here again!

We had a fantastic time at a charming hostel nestled by a beautiful lake. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the train station, gondola, and hiking trails. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. the complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We loved sitting outside by the lake and taking in the breathtaking views. the common areas were spacious and well-maintained.

The worst aspect of our stay was the noise from a school group that was also staying at the hostel. It did get quite noisy at times, which was a bit inconvenient.
